If this isn't a trolling topic I don't know what is. Far as the pros and cons it simply comes down to this. Do you enjoy doing absolutely nothing for your rewards and like screwing people over to get what you want for free because you can get away with it ? Then by all means leech, nobody is going to really stop you right ? Must be a really good feeling deep down inside to know you're the man. Hell you get to burn up band width, put stress on servers, and hell you're not even really there so who does it really hurt.

It's far from a victimless crime folks, every gamer involved where this is going on is affected. In one way shape or form we pay for it, be it letting gold sellers loose on the servers or simply making it harder for average gamers to obtain things because others are getting rich for doing nothing and some actually making money selling VR items. We all take a part of ourselves into the game and for those who see this is " awe it's okay, everyone does it " or " screw that I can do as I please " you must keep one thing in mind. These may be avatars, toons on a screen, or whatever you feel like calling them but there's a real person controling that bot and I wonder what type of a person he or she is bringing into the gaming community ?

I think that would have been a better question to ask there OP.

I don't think it's about respect, guys, it's about efficiency :P

That being said, Yes, the pros outway the cons. However, I don't leech :P

If you are not phased by what other people think of you, yes. If not, no.

One sided topics like this where you present your morals to other people are always going to be "righteous."

Pros>cons. I dont even go to JQ, but truthfully, if your gonna care what people think of you on an online game(opinions of people who frown upon you) you can lose respect in alot of ways in game. I dont advocate the shit, but Anet built these crummy title systems in ways that bring the worst out of people.

Yes, pros>cons (assuming FA/JQ here).

The people who are leeching are smart, no one reports in that arena. Cheating seems pointless to me, as it takes away from the experience of reaching goals.

Sad part is, once 600/smite is nerfed, JQ/FA is going to be the main way to get faction for most people.

Leeching is very profitable. I tried it (flame on) when after few min I was annoyed with my team. It's awesome. Leeching gets you lots of faction for doing nothing. Dishonorable hex is a joke.

Oh, and I avoid leeching because I have moral problems doing it. You really need specific mindframe to leech and ruin other peoples gameplay.

Being a douche-bag is rewarding enough in itself.

Being a douchebag will get you titles and rewards for no effort at all [apperently]. The even sadder part is that the rest of the players [especially those partaking in a match alongside those botters/cheaters] just stand there and do absolutely nothing about it. They even tag right along with the botter in hopes of winning and reaping rewards while oblivious of the fact that they themselves are spending all their time playing to win while the botter right beside them is AFK. It boggles my mind 'til this day why players support botters/cheaters.
